How to address relatives in Taiwan?

In the Chinese culture, we do not call our relatives by their names, especially if they are older than I am in the seniority of the family. So in today's video, I'd like to show you how to address relatives in Taiwan,

First, my siblings and their children.
兄弟姊妹 siblings
When I am talking to someone and mention my elder brother, I will call him 哥哥 and call his wife 嫂嫂.
My young brother is my 弟弟, and his wife is my 弟妹.
My elder sister is my 姊姊. I call her husband 姊夫.
My young sister is my 妹妹, and her husband is my 妹夫.
My brother's children are my 姪子/姪女
My sister's children are my 外甥/外甥女

Next, my parents' parents, siblings, and their children.
I called my father's father 爺爺, and my father's mother 奶奶.
But my mother's father, I call him 外公, and my mother's mother is my 外婆.
You may also hear more formal names such as 祖父、祖母;外祖父、外祖母

My father's brothers, who elder than him, is my 伯伯, and his younger brother is my 叔叔
伯伯's wife is called 伯母, but 叔叔's wife is called 嬸嬸, their children are my 堂sibilings because we have the same family name.
My father's sisters are all called 姑姑, her husband is called 姑丈, and their children are my 表siblings because they have different family names from mine.

Mother's siblings are easier, her brothers are all called 舅舅, and I call their wives 舅媽.
and mother's sisters are all called 阿姨, and their husbands will be called 姨丈.
All their children are my 表siblings, because they all have different family names from me.

Last, my spouse's family
When I'm talking about my husband's parents, I call them 公婆,
my husband's father is 公公
my husband's mother is 婆婆
My husband is called my father 岳父, and my mother is his 岳母.
To my 公婆, I am their 媳婦.
To my parents, my husband is their 女婿.
