We know that English words are made up of prefixes字首, roots字根, and suffixes字尾, and we can see the meaning of words through them.

In Traditional Chinese, we also have 部首 to know the connotation of words.

According to 《康熙字典》, we have 214 部首, but I don't think need to learn them all, because some of the radicals are classified according to their shape so that they do not have the same connotation.

As a result, you only need to know the 部首 that have meaning and can help you understand the word better. so I will share the common 部首 with you.

Now, Let start with 五行(Five Phases)

五行is a fivefold conceptual scheme that many Traditional Chinese fields used to explain a wide array of phenomena, they are 金 Gold or Metal, 木 Wood, 水 Water, 火 Fire, 土  Soil or Earth . But we are not talking about philosophy today, so let's go back to 部首.

Note that some of them have different shapes but the same connotation.
