The first set is
宀 、冂 and 冖
In 部首13 ,we know that 宀 means roof, the roof of a building.
Does the shape of 冂 look like a book cover or slipcase to you? So the measurement word for books is 冊, but in daily life, we use the word 本 more often.
Compared to 宀, 部首 冖 has a tiny dash less.
冖 means the cloth that covers something, also called 冪
In mathematics, exponentiation is an operation involving two numbers, the base and the exponent or power. We translate exponentiation as 冪, I don't know why, but let's just remember it.
So when you write 宀, don't make it too long on either side and don't forget to add a tiny dash at the top.
門、鬥
Also in 部首13, we know that 門 means gate or door.
This 部首 鬥 means fight, you can see these two straight lines moving to either side.
Does that mean: When the door opens, it's time to fight?
But sometimes, if you live near a market市場, opening the door can be noisy吵鬧. Thus, 吵鬧 is put 市 into 鬥.
彳、人、八、入
Still is 部首13, 彳 is related to step and walk, and in 部首10, we talk about 人 means people.
Hope you still remember that 人 has two types, one is 人 and the other is亻. This one(亻)looks like 彳, the difference between the two is this short-slant is one or two.
In the Video "How to write the numbers of Traditional Chinese?" we know this word 八 is number eight.
八 looks the same as 人, but there is a gap in the middle.
This one is also looks the same as 人. The difference between the two is that the left side of 人 is higher than the right side. And 入 is the opposite, the right side is higher than the left.
入 means to go into a particular place, so we have enter進入 and entrance入口.
土、士
The final set is 土, in 部首1, we know 土 means Soil or Earth. There are two horizontal lines in this word, and the line at the top is shorter than the line at the bottom.
The 部首士 is the opposite. Its line at the top is longer than the line at the bottom.
士 means a scholar or a soldier. Now we use it as an honorific for people. For example, 女士lady and 紳士gentleman.
Note that the horizontal lines of these two words must be one short and one long, they cannot be the same length.
