Learning Traditional Chinese Radical 部首15

In today's video, we will continue to look at those similar but different 部首. Then we will end the introduction of common 部首 for now. In the future, I will help you identify the differences between words with the same pronunciation but different 部首. As we come across new 部首, I will explain them then.
Now, let's start today's video.

The first set, we have 日 and 曰.

In 部首5, we know that 日means sun or day.
曰 means say. For example, 子曰 means 孔子 (Kongzi) said.
Compared to 日, the shape of 曰 is wider.
We can use these words to make a comparison
日子  means day
子曰  is 孔子 (Kongzi) said
Be careful not to confuse.

月、肉

Also in 部首5 we know that 月 means moon or month and in 部首2 we talk about 肉 means flesh and has two types 肉,  and the other is this one ⺼.Unlike the 月, which has two parallel lines, the ⺼ has two slashes. One goes down and the other goes up.
Since this type will not appear alone, but always with the side of a word when we write, so if you write parallel line is acceptable. If so, why should I spend time talking about it?
Allow me to use an idiom to explain why I take the time to talk about the difference between these two 部首?
The idiom is 病入膏肓.
病入膏肓 means a person who is terminally ill.  病 means ill and 入 means enter, we talk about 入 on 部首14. if you think these two words are used 月 as 部首,  You might think the person was ill for months because there were two 月, but being ill for a couple of months wouldn't be death.
膏肓 refers to the area below the heart and above the diaphragm. In ancient times, Chinese medicine believed that if a person had an illness in this area, it was a sign that the person would die soon.
So if you know that this word is used⺼as its 部首, You'll know that this idiom means that the disease penetrates deep into the body, and you won't misunderstand it.
Nowadays, we use 病入膏肓 to describe people or things that have become irreversibly bad..

口、囗

These are two different words.
In 部首2, 口 related to the mouth and the sound you made by the throat.
囗 means enclosure. It's an area surrounded by something, maybe fences, walls, or boundaries. It will not appear alone, but surround a word.
So we have 包圍 surround, If someone is surrounded by fences, they are probably prisoners 囚犯.
The boundary is a real or imaginary line that marks the edge or limit of something, the first word that comes to my mind with boundary is 國家nation.
囗 will appear on the outermost side, but 口 will appear on one side of the characters, sometimes on the top, sometimes on the bottom, but most of the time it will be on the left side.

Next set is  衣 and 示.

In 部首12, we know that 衣 Clothes has three types衣衤𧘇, and this one衤is more common.
The 部首 示 has two types 示and礻, It means show 顯示,The other important meaning of this 部首 is that it is related to worship崇拜, so 神 god and 祝福 blessing, all use 礻as 部首.
There is a tiny difference between the two, this tiny dash, I would suggest thinking of it this way: we always need more clothes, so the衤 will have more tiny dash.

The final set is 刀 and 力.

We mentioned that 刀 means knife in 部首12.
力 means power or force.
Using force to hurt or attack people is 暴力 violence.
Power is the ability to control people and events, we call it 勢力.
The ability to do things that require great physical or mental effort is strength力量.
The difference is the head, there is a head, and there is no head.
