感覺 feeling / sense
- It can refer to an emotional state or reaction, or to a physical sensation that is not an emotion.
Most often, the abbreviation "感" refers to the emotional meaning, while the abbreviation "覺" usually refers to the physical meaning.
- 例句:
- 她幽默感挺好的。
She has a good sense of humor. - 你的腿還有感覺嗎?
Do you have any feeling in your legs?
直覺 Intuition
- It's the ability to understand or sense things without the need for logical reasoning, analysis, or experience.
It can also refer to a gut feeling or a premonition.
- 例句:
- 有些人有接近動物的野性直覺,會本能地避開危險。
Some people have an almost animalistic intuition that instinctively helps them avoid danger.
錯覺 illusion
- It refers to a false perception of an actual object. The object itself exists, but your perception of it is inaccurate.
- 例句:
- 藝術家們經常利用視錯覺圖來挑戰人類的視覺系統,例如在平面上創造出立體感或動態效果。
Artists often use optical illusions to challenge the human visual system, such as creating a sense of depth or motion on a flat surface.
幻覺 Hallucination
- It is an unreal, imaginary sense in which you see, hear, feel, or smell something that does not exist.
- 例句:
- 長時間缺乏睡眠,容易產生幻覺。
Prolonged sleep deprivation can easily lead to hallucinations.
