解字

 《說文解字》 is an ancient Chinese dictionary compiled by 許慎(Xu Shen) during the 東漢n dynasty (25 – 206 CE). It was the first to analyze the structure of the characters and to give the rationale behind them.

說文 means discussing writing.解字 means explaining characters.
